Note – eat every day: Each day you are to eat cabbage soup, in quantities that you desire based on hunger and need. As a result, we will not highlight cabbage soup each day, it is just assumed. Also, it is recommended that you drink a mix of unsweetened tea or black coffee, cranberry juice and/or over the 7-days, except where noted otherwise. Further, regarding quantities of food and meals in which to consume them, it is really up to you. Eat in moderation and mix in the daily suggested food as desired.
Day 1: Eat any and all fruits (except bananas) you desire. Apples, oranges, berries…it’s up to you; just remember, no bananas.
Day 2: In addition to cabbage soup, eat other raw, boiled, or steamed vegetables while avoiding dry beans, peas and corn. For dinner, eat a baked potato (butter optional, but okay – heck, try a spray butter if you want).
Day 3: Combination of days 1 & 2 including all fruits and vegetables except potatoes and the others stated above.
Day 4: Half-way there, Day 4 we will rename “Crazy 8 Day”. Eat 8 bananas (or as many as you can, limit 8) and the same number of glasses (8) of fat-free skim milk. Want to go a step further with the “8’s”? Could try 8 bowls of soup, just for kicks...but why? Why not?
Day 5: Eat up to 6 tomatoes and up to 450 grams or 20 ounces (1 ¼ lb) of beef, chicken, or fish. Throughout the day, down 8 – 8oz glasses of water as well.
Day 6: Same as day 5 except we will substitute other vegetables (your choice) for tomatoes. Select a meat option; grab some vegetables, 8 glasses of water. Oh yeah, get “souped-up” too.
Day 7: The final day – nice work. Try some brown rice, pure fruit juice and more vegetables throughout the day.
